I’ve been researching this topic today — Facebook Flash Games. What I can’t understand is that there’s so many Facebook Flash Games out there, used by so many people, but so few tutorials discussing how to make them. Are all the Flash Facebook games out there being built by a small group of people?
Also the “downloads” stats for the Facebook ActionScript library are really low — only 2000 in over a month, which is about 90 per day. For such an important tool this doesn’t seem like high figures.
Am I missing something here?
When you have a situation where lots of money can be made from having specialist knowledge, then that knowledge is going to be highly guarded :)….having said that, there are some guides around, but I think unfortunately unless you can pay someone lots to do a Facebook game for you, it’s going to be a case of getting stuck in and trial and error.
